Full Term already!
I'm full term already, when did that happen? I have three weeks 'til my due date but the baby could come anytime in the next month. I have quite a bit to get done, including packing the bag for the hospital, not that that is such a big deal, I don't need to pack a lot of stuff I just need to make sure it's packed.
Well, I don't feel like writing much more and I have to get ready to go see Transformers :)

20 weeks and counting...
It seemed like it would take forever to get to this point. I'm half way through the pregnancy now. Morning sickness is finally dying down. I thought I first felt the baby move one the first day of week 15 but after reflecting on it I think that was just a minor muscle spasm, since the baby was clearly not in that area of my belly, actually the baby still isn't in that area of my belly. It doesn't really matter anyway because I actually felt the baby kick and move around one week later and pretty much every day since then. Morning sickness aside, I really do like being pregnant. A good part of it could be the awesome clothes I now get to wear. In my opinion every woman should have a pair of pregnancy pants for holidays, or maybe just for dinner time, haha.
A note on saving money.
I don't work outside the home. I try to keep up the house and all those menial chores that come with it. I think my husband's family thinks I should be out getting a job and working until the baby gets here, after all that's what my mother-in-law did. Every once in a while I ask my husband if he would like me to get a job and he says no. For us, especially since we only have one car, it would be best if I stayed home and figured out how to save us money than go out and get a job that would require me to get a car and insurance... (which would pretty much be my pay check anyway). So, I should cut to the chase already, these are some of the ways I hope to help us save money:
Cloth diapers (I hope to make most of them myself)
Family cloth (pretty much just for me and when going #1)
Cloth napkins, tissue, etc (I'd like to eliminate as much disposable product usage as I can)
Make/bake most of our food
Grow most of our grow-able food (this is more of a long term goal)
Clipping coupons (I've tried it before and I think I finally understand how to use them to their fullest potential)
Cutting back on the paper/disposable products alone would save us over $500 a year.
Ya know, I am finding that with time I seem to be getting more and more crunchy. I'm not sure what the driving force is for me, is it environmental, my dislike for most things modern, or is it simply because I'm cheap. I'm not sure.

Babies!!!
Ok, so we let the cat out of the bag a little sooner than planned but it's ok :) I'm seven weeks along (tomorrow will be eight weeks), or toward the end of my second month. Our baby is due in mid July.
Morning sickness hit me pretty hard yesterday but I think I have a better grasp on it today, I seem to be slightly more mobile. I have heard from a few people that ginger is supposed to help ease an upset stomach buuuut I wasn't having the best luck with the regular ginger tea you buy in the store or even the with sprinkling the powdered ginger in my regular tea. Yesterday I read a lady who was having the same issue say that if you cut off a couple slices from the ginger root and boil them for half an hour then it's much tastier and works better too. So I sent my husband to the store yesterday to get some ginger root. I got to try it this morning and it seems to be working quite well. I did put a tiny bit of honey in it, but either way I think it tastes way better than the store bought tea. It's worth a try if you have an up set tummy.

Here's how the weeks correspond with months (I think they assume all months are February ;) )
First month (approx 1-4 weeks)
Second month (approx 5-8 weeks)
Third month (approx 9-13 weeks)
Fourth month (approx 14-17 weeks)
Fifth month (approx 18-22 weeks)
Sixth month (approx 23-27 weeks)
Seventh month (approx 28-31 weeks)
Eighth month (approx 32-35 weeks)
Ninth month (approx 36-40 weeks)
It was always frustrating for me to talk to a pregnant woman who only knew where she was in weeks because I had no clue what 29 weeks meant, but seven months made sense to me. So here you go :)

new lay out
I was going to try to do something new on my own but I came across some that xanga already has so I went with this one. It's a little bit darker than I like but I like faries and it's easier to read, which had been a compliant of my other one (even from me ;) ) oh well.
I've not been feeling well lately, mostly today. It's really not that bad, just enough to be annoying and keep me from doing things like going on a walk or a lot of house work. So pretty much I sleep, read and sit at the computer when it's free.
Things have been and are going to continue to change a lot for me this year. Getting married two months ago, moving to a new city three weeks ago and finding out something that we aren't technically telling anyone until around Christmas. So with in a year and a half my life will have totally changed for me, from last march to this summer. Meeting and marrying my husband and a surprise this summer!
I have a bunch of new crafting ideas for this spring, I'll go into more details about those after Christmas, for obvious reasons ;) but one of them involves a shamwow.

Bread Starter
I really want to try this. I've been wondering for a long time how you would bake bread without a package of yeast from the store since people had to have a way of doing it hundreds of years ago. Anyway I stumbled across this site earlier today. I haven't tried it yet but I really want to, it could save me a few bucks in yeast each month :)
********************************************
Preparing: one jar (c.a. 500ml, wash well and flush with boiling water, let it cool down.
1. use flowing water remove dust from the surface of apple, then cut it into several pieces. No need to peel.
2. put apple into cooled jar, add 1 tbsp suger or honey, then add boiled cold water to cover all apples and solve suger/honey.
3. cover the jar with plastic wrap and wait about 3 - 5 days.
4. you will see the ferment start, many bubbles appear, and liquid color become darker, sweet fragrance also stronger.
5. filter the liquid, add 1 cup bread flour into the filtrate and mix well, as below:

6. be careful during the beginning 12 hours, the yeast is very active and might outwell. the jar below is the same one after 6 hours.

7. when the starter grows slower, discard half and add half cup fresh flour and half cup boiled cool water. repeat this step at least 3 times.
8. then you got a nice apple starter. Please store in fridge(not freeze). it has to be activated one night before use: discard half and add some flour and fresh water, culture at room temperature overnight.
